The eagerly awaited match between number one Manny Pacquiao; pound for pound boxer and the second Floyd Mayweather Jr; pound for pound boxer, to be held on November 13th, 2010 is near. The match which was to be played at Las Vegas, in the MGM Grand has been cancelled due to issues that have arisen. The main disagreement is mostly due to the way and time of taking the required drug test. The match was eagerly looked forward to by the world at large. These issues that are unresolved have dashed the hopes of so many fans. The match would have identified the best boxer of the two. Each boxer's profile is crucial in better understanding them.
Manny Pacquiao was born in December 17th, 1978 in Kibawe Bukidnon in Philippines In total; he has been involved in 55 fights with 50 wins, 38 knockouts, lost 3 and drew 2. Rated as number one ranked boxer in the world by Ring magazine. His achievements include; WBC former lightweight champion, WBC flyweight world champion, WBC super featherweight world champion, IBF super bantamweight world champion, WBC flyweight world champion, Ring magazine former champion and super weight featherweight champion. He is the current WBO welterweight champion, IBO and Ring magazine light welterweight champion. Having won seven world titles in very different weight divisions. He is the only boxer to ever win Lineal Championship resulting in four weight classes that were totally different. His wins of boxers include; Oscar Larios, Mario Antonio Barrera, Jorge Solis, Erik Morales, Miguel Cotto, David Diaz and Ricky Hatton.
