Grand Theft Auto and it's numerous episodes is a real classic under the sandbox-games. You have so much opportunity and can do just about everything you like, which unfortunately you will not be able to do in typical level-based video games. Yet still there are times a mission assignment can be really difficult to accomplish, or possibly the everyday "running over people on the streets, car-chases" with the police officers end up being dull.
